Noor was a really unique and beautiful location for a wedding. I loved the bar.
On September 2nd, my friends Coleen and Matt made it official and got married in Lodi, California at Wine and Roses. I met Coleen through my friend Kim almost 13 years ago, and since then we have remained great friends. Coleen and I aren’t the friends that talk everyday, but when we do get together, we always have a great time. She was the friend that would ride the elephant with me in Thailand when no one else wanted to, or think it was a good idea to ride down the river on a raft…..and we would laugh the whole time doing it. When Coleen called me to let me know that her and Matt were tying the knot, I was so happy for her. They’ve known each other since high school and even after losing touch after school they reconnected after college and ultimately made a family together and are now husband and wife.
The wedding at Wine and Roses was perfect for them, it was beautiful and intimate, and we were so happy to be a part of their day. Congratulations Coleen & Matt…may your lives be forever full of love and happiness!
Check out the pictures from the day and to see more here is the slideshow.

Loving all the details, especially the birds and cherry blossoms.
It was a beautiful and sunny California day on Saturday, January 7th, the perfect wedding day for Abbe and Bryan. They make the cutest and sweetest couple and I enjoyed capturing their day as it unfolded. They made photographing them so easy, because you can truly see how much they love each other in every picture, so not much effort is needed on our part. Check out the pictures from the day and remember to view the slideshow here!
The wedding was at the Bayview Marriott in Newport Beach.

Here Bryan is waiting for Abbe to come out….he’s so bad…kept wanting to peak. I told him he must be that guy that tries to figure out what’s inside the presents during Christmas
See what I mean by cutest and sweetest couple….doesn’t this picture just make your heart all warm and fuzzy?

Meet the groom Michael. He’s a little camera shy, but eventually we got him to loosen up a little.
Toasting with the groomsmen.
Here comes the bride.
One of the best parts of the Korean wedding is that the children give the parents flowers and gives respect to them during the ceremony, it’s always so emotional.
The first dance….so sweet together
During the slideshow we find out that Michael got the gold medal for one of the best proposals. Sylvia had always wanted a puppy, so Michael bought one and it came running into a party at Sylvia’s house, of course Sylvia had no idea (but everyone else knew what was going on), she picks up the dog and on the tag it read “Will you marry me” and Michel basically said, now that I’ve made your dreams come true, will you make mine come true and marry me……awwwwwww, I had tears in my eyes and all this was video taped and it was shown during the slideshow at the wedding. Good job Michael!!
And here is the dog who quickly became one of the most loved family members…..he was the ring bearer
Last month I got to second shoot again with Pye Jirsa of Lin and Jirsa Photography. The last time I got to work with him was last summer when I was still pregnant, so it’s been awhile. It was nice to work with Pye and shoot weddings together again.
I met up with the groom first at the hotel where they were getting ready. It was fun hanging out with the guys, they are quite funny. One of the groomsman even wanted pictures in the shower….fully clothed though…don’t get any crazy ideas. Later on we all met up at Brand Park/Library. I use to go there when I went to college at Woodbury in Burbank, so I knew the park well. The ceremony took place at the Japanese gardens…I always thought it would be a nice place to have a wedding and now I got to take pictures there, how cool is that. After the Jewish wedding ceremony, everyone headed off to the Ramsey’s at the Club for the reception. This place was a very cool place for a wedding. It was a cozy, classy, elegant and an intimate setting, and because they had the whole club to themselves, everyone had room to spread out between the lobby, bar, patio and ballroom area.
It was a gorgeous day for a wedding and Hilary and Joe looked amazing and together they made a beautiful couple. Congratulations!
Hot Bride!! That was my first thought when I saw her….so pretty.
I love succulents in flowers…such a pretty bouquet!
Love is just written all over their faces….this is why I love weddings so much :)
Last Saturday I had the pleasure of second shooting with Youkeun of Youkeun Oh Photography. It was my first time shooting with him and I had a great time. I met Youkeun a couple of years ago at a B-School fieldtrip and I finally got the opportunity to work with him.
The wedding was at the Sportsmen’s Lodge in Studio City. It started out as a gloomy day, but then the skies cleared up for Susan and Hyun. It was my first time meeting the couple, but you could tell how much they cared and loved each other. It was emotional for the both of them when they saw each other for the first time and during the ceremony. The bridal party also was a fun bunch, always laughing and joking around with one another.
Congratulations Susan and Hyun!!
The first look.
