Creative Vision Design & Photography:

Hi my name is Seanny and I'm the designer & photographer at Creative Vision, a design & photography boutique located in Orange County. Thank you for visiting my blog and taking the time to get to know me. I graduated from Woodbury University with a degree in Graphic Design and have worked in the Music/Entertainment Industry and Publishing world since 1999. But because I'm a true romantic, my passion was weddings, whether it was designing for them or photographing them.

Design can play an important role in a wedding. It sets the tone of the wedding beginning with the save the dates, to the to the invitations, all the way to the little personalized tag on the favors. Your wedding is all about you, the bride and the groom, and I can design everything to fit your personality and taste. I believe that every little detail is important, and it can make your guest feel how special your day is to you.

My love of photography began a few years ago when I fell in love with the photojournalism used to capture the event. Having been a bride myself, I know how important photography is to the bride and groom. My goal as a photographer is to capture all of the little moments, emotions and details, and to tell the story of the day through photography. I photograph a wedding, the way I would like my own wedding photographed.

    Coleen & Matt – Wedding Photography {Lodi, California}

    Sunday, November 4th, 2012

    On September 2nd, my friends Coleen and Matt made it official and got married in Lodi, California at Wine and Roses. I met Coleen through my friend Kim almost 13 years ago, and since then we have remained great friends. Coleen and I aren’t the friends that talk everyday, but when we do get together, we always have a great time. She was the friend that would ride the elephant with me in Thailand when no one else wanted to, or think it was a good idea to ride down the river on a raft…..and we would laugh the whole time doing it. When Coleen called me to let me know that her and Matt were tying the knot, I was so happy for her. They’ve known each other since high school and even after losing touch after school they reconnected after college and ultimately made a family together and are now husband and wife.

    The wedding at Wine and Roses was perfect for them, it was beautiful and intimate, and we were so happy to be a part of their day. Congratulations Coleen & Matt…may your lives be forever full of love and happiness!

    Check out the pictures from the day and to see more here is the slideshow.

    Freeman Family Photos 2012 – Laguna Beach, CA

    Thursday, September 27th, 2012

    You know almost a year has past if you see the Freeman’s family portraits posted onto my blog :) I have had the greatest pleasure in helping Lisa capture her family memories for the past 4 years. Not only is Lisa a client now, but she is truly one of my greatest friends.

    The first photoshoot was Lisa and Nick’s engagement/first family pictures with Addison. I remember when Addison was just about Jackson’s age at the time. Now look at how big she is already! And Jackson was a just a newborn when we took his first pictures, and now he’s such a little man. We had a great time at the beach, and we have pictures to show for it. Check them out! Click here for more pictures in the slideshow.

    Thursday, December 15th, 2011

    I got to hang out with this cute little family last Saturday, meet the Choi family….

    To see more pictures check out the slideshow, click here.

    They had just moved into their beautiful home, and were still unpacking. I’m glad that they unpacked the Christmas tree first, it made for a very cute first Christmas picture in their new home :)

    Adri (the mom) wanted to have pictures taken  of the girls in their traditional Hanboks (Korean Dresses), before they outgrew them.  They look so cute!

    The girls loved their lollipops….Rylen wouldn’t let it go!

    After lollipops, we had to let the kids work off the sugar :)

    Blowing Kisses.

    It was funny when Katrina decided to feed Hailey the dirt :)

    Wheee!

    If Katrina looks familiar to you, it’s because she was Aidan’s first playdate…look how big and mobile she is now.

    Camacho Family Photoshoot {Laguna Beach}

    Look how cute these girls are….they made my job easy.

    Kaylie is older by a year and definitely takes on the older sister role.

    Sabrina is the goofy one.

    What a beautiful family :)

    What’s a photoshoot without lollipops? Candy is the best bribe in the world.

    Some mommy loving :)

    Alyssa & Wesley Are Married! {Downtown Disney, Anaheim Wedding}

    Tuesday, June 7th, 2011

    A few months ago I met Alyssa, and we pretty much hit it off instantly. Maybe it’s because we both have an art background and love design, but I think also because we both love to chit chat about everything and we just click so well. She told me about the man of her dreams, Wesley, and how he was serving in Afghanistan right now. I could tell how much she loved him and missed him. Then she told me about how she was planning her dream wedding at Disneyland and her love for Disney. Originally she booked me for their wedding for this September, but then I received an email about Wesley not being able to come back in time for the September wedding, so it was moved to next year. Then they decided that when he did come back this year for R&R they would get married first and renew their vows again next year. But with the uncertainty of the military, the dates kept changing. But finally we got one date sort of set in stone, May 28, 2011, which also happened to be the day that Alyssa would also graduate from Biola University. What a day for them and the whole family! First a graduation ceremony in the morning, then a wedding ceremony.

    I met up with the couple in the evening at Downtown Disney, Anaheim, to first do an engagement session with them. This cute couple surely did make my job easy. The key, I think, to great pictures, is to have the couple not see each other for months, then every shot you get turns out to be the most romantic picture….haha! Alyssa was a little shy at first, but then with Wesley there she forgot about my camera for a sec :) Afterwards we met up with her family and we did a quick, under the radar, ceremony under the Fantasia Hat. They said their own vows, exchanged rings, and now their dreams had come true, they were finally together forever! Thank you Alyssa and Wesley for inviting me to share your special day!

    Jackson Freeman – Newborn Photoshoot – Orange County

    Sunday, May 15th, 2011

    Last Wednesday, I got a chance to meet Jackson Freeman for the first time. For the past 2 years I’ve photographed and documented every stage of this family’s lives and now, there is a brand new addition! Jackson was a little miracle, at first he was expected to be born super early, but luckily he hung on and was born about 7 weeks early instead on April 5th. Now he is healthy, growing and doing extremely well. Check out this cutie patootie….

    Lisa and Nick – Trash the Dress Session

    Wednesday, July 14th, 2010

    A few weeks ago I met up with Lisa and Nick again, for their trash the dress session. It was so much fun!! I’ve never done a trash the dress session before, and I was super excited for my first one. Most brides don’t want to ruin their dress, but Lisa was not messing around when she said she wanted to trash the dress. We started off at the fire station where Nick works, and we got to use the fire truck as our prop…..funness! Then at the park, Lisa decides she wants to climb a tree. So in her skin tight dress and heels, she shimmied up the tree…..quick too…..that was super impressive. Finally we ended our shoot at Newport Beach, where Lisa practically swam in the ocean….I was loving it! All I can say is thank goodness for my 70-200 mm lens, cuz I wasn’t gonna go in that water :) I think the pictures turned out great, and if I was able to fit into my wedding dress again, I would totally do a trash the dress session too.
