Last month I got to second shoot again with Pye Jirsa of Lin and Jirsa Photography. The last time I got to work with him was last summer when I was still pregnant, so it’s been awhile. It was nice to work with Pye and shoot weddings together again.
I met up with the groom first at the hotel where they were getting ready. It was fun hanging out with the guys, they are quite funny. One of the groomsman even wanted pictures in the shower….fully clothed though…don’t get any crazy ideas. Later on we all met up at Brand Park/Library. I use to go there when I went to college at Woodbury in Burbank, so I knew the park well. The ceremony took place at the Japanese gardens…I always thought it would be a nice place to have a wedding and now I got to take pictures there, how cool is that. After the Jewish wedding ceremony, everyone headed off to the Ramsey’s at the Club for the reception. This place was a very cool place for a wedding. It was a cozy, classy, elegant and an intimate setting, and because they had the whole club to themselves, everyone had room to spread out between the lobby, bar, patio and ballroom area.
It was a gorgeous day for a wedding and Hilary and Joe looked amazing and together they made a beautiful couple. Congratulations!
Red Bull seemed to be the drink of choice that day for the groomsmen while they got ready.
Hot Bride!! That was my first thought when I saw her….so pretty.
I love succulents in flowers…such a pretty bouquet!
Love is just written all over their faces….this is why I love weddings so much :)
