Creative Vision Design & Photography:

Hi my name is Seanny and I'm the designer & photographer at Creative Vision, a design & photography boutique located in Orange County. Thank you for visiting my blog and taking the time to get to know me. I graduated from Woodbury University with a degree in Graphic Design and have worked in the Music/Entertainment Industry and Publishing world since 1999. But because I'm a true romantic, my passion was weddings, whether it was designing for them or photographing them.

Design can play an important role in a wedding. It sets the tone of the wedding beginning with the save the dates, to the to the invitations, all the way to the little personalized tag on the favors. Your wedding is all about you, the bride and the groom, and I can design everything to fit your personality and taste. I believe that every little detail is important, and it can make your guest feel how special your day is to you.

My love of photography began a few years ago when I fell in love with the photojournalism used to capture the event. Having been a bride myself, I know how important photography is to the bride and groom. My goal as a photographer is to capture all of the little moments, emotions and details, and to tell the story of the day through photography. I photograph a wedding, the way I would like my own wedding photographed.

  • Our First Christmas Together!

So, I’m a little behind…it’s almost the end of January and I’m just updating you with Christmas pictures. It has been a crazy few months, that’s for sure. I can’t believe Aidan is already 4 months. It went by so fast, yet it’s only been 4 months, it’s such a strange feeling. Aidan has had many firsts already, first Halloween, first Thanksgiving, first Christmas and first New Years. And now he can even hold his head up when he’s on his belly, almost sit up, rolling over on one side, and giggle, laugh and converse with you in baby gibberish. He’s definitely a lot more fun now….except when he’s hungry and tired.

Christmas was so much fun this year. It was definitely a lot more work, now that there is a little one. But it was fun decorating a new house and sharing it with Charlie and our son. We spent Xmas eve at home and had dinner with my mom and brother. We made chicken pot pie soup, had the famous “Oprah approved” chicken pie from Harry and David’s, green bean casserole, corn and mash potatoes. And for dessert, homemade mint chocolate chip cookies and peanut butter cookies, and tiramisu (my brother’s girlfriend brought that over :) with hot chocolate.

On Christmas morning we opened presents with Aidan. He basically sat there while we held presents up to him and took pictures. I also opened my present from Charlie….he got me the tall uggs I wanted with the button on the sides and I got him the ESPN 30 for 30 DVD documentaries he wanted…..oh and btw, we also got each other a car….yeah, Merry Christmas to us!! We have a new 2011 Charcoal gray Toyota Camry now.¬†Although I guess the car is more for Aidan, since that’s the car we drive him around in.

Afterwards we headed over to Charlie’s parent’s house for the annual Christmas party with Charlie’s family and my mom and brother. As usual we ate too much and it was chaos when we all opened our presents.

For New Years Eve we also spent it at Charlie’s parents house and we ate some more, then we went home and Aidan woke up just in time for the Count down. We gave him a kiss at the stroke of mid-night and gave each other a kiss, it was the beginning of 2011 and I was so blessed to spent it with my new family. Happy 2011 to all of my friends and family and to all of you who supported me and my business!!!

This year’s Christmas card design. Owl themed of course. (For those of you who don’t understand why I’m obsessed with owls now…it’s because that was the theme for Aidan’s room and it just became an obsession of mine to find all things owl.)

Surprisingly he was okay in the snowman costume….I think he didn’t know what was going on.

Aidan did not like this photo session in his santa outfit at all….but didn’t he look cute.

Our first family picture at Christmas!

The present is bigger than Aidan!

Papa showing Aidan what potential things he can break next year at Christmas. Mama reassured papa that I can always re-buy things on his credit card :)
