Creative Vision Design & Photography:

Hi my name is Seanny and I'm the designer & photographer at Creative Vision, a design & photography boutique located in Orange County. Thank you for visiting my blog and taking the time to get to know me. I graduated from Woodbury University with a degree in Graphic Design and have worked in the Music/Entertainment Industry and Publishing world since 1999. But because I'm a true romantic, my passion was weddings, whether it was designing for them or photographing them.

Design can play an important role in a wedding. It sets the tone of the wedding beginning with the save the dates, to the to the invitations, all the way to the little personalized tag on the favors. Your wedding is all about you, the bride and the groom, and I can design everything to fit your personality and taste. I believe that every little detail is important, and it can make your guest feel how special your day is to you.

My love of photography began a few years ago when I fell in love with the photojournalism used to capture the event. Having been a bride myself, I know how important photography is to the bride and groom. My goal as a photographer is to capture all of the little moments, emotions and details, and to tell the story of the day through photography. I photograph a wedding, the way I would like my own wedding photographed.

    Kelan’s Robot Party – 3rd Birthday Celebration

    Thursday, April 29th, 2010

On Saturday, April 17th, Kelan celebrated his 3rd birthday with a Robot party. This year, as always, Kim, Kelan’s mom, went all out. It was a great party all decked out with a ice cream truck, photobooth truck from Mini Mugz (which is a division of mugshots party booths) and popcorn bar. Funtimes!! I think now, Kelan’s parties are becoming the event of the year. We just can’t wait to see what the party will be like. Check out some of the fun pics I took from the party!

    Michael Buble Concert #9

    Friday, April 16th, 2010

Last Friday, I got to go to my 9th Buble concert….yes 9th!!! I am crazy, but I’m not alone, my friend Kim who came with me went 10 times. And all of them were worth it!! Out of the 9 concerts, this one ranked #3 for me. Definitely one of the best ones I’ve been to. It was at the Staple Center and it was only the 14th concert in his new tour. I have already listened to the new album a million times and loved it and I was really excited to see the new concert.

Four years ago, when we started going to these concerts it was so much easier to buy tickets, now that there is a bigger fan base, it’s getting harder and harder. In fact Kim and I didn’t even sit next to each other, it was the only way we were able to get floor seats. At first I wasn’t sure if I would enjoy the concert as much sitting next to strangers, but once it started, I forgot that I Kim was even there. Probably would have left her, if I didn’t bump into her when I was running to the front of the stage….yes I’m one of those fans. The concert started off ok, mainly because I was still sitting pretty far back and he was a little speck on the stage. But it became way better when suddenly he jumped off the stage and made his way to the middle of the arena. I quickly ran up to the second stage they set up and found myself right there in front. So close that I was right next to the guitar player….literally. That made my night, cuz it’s just way better when you get to see him right up close and singing, it’s like he’s just singing for you…..hehehe….sigh. Afterwards, he went back to the front of the stage and I went up there too….that’s when I ran into Kim again, and we finally made our way to the first row for his encore songs…..loved it. The ending of the concerts are always so good.

Check out the pics….sorry I didn’t bring the Canon 5D with me, I figured they wouldn’t let me in with that big ole thing. The pictures weren’t that great this time, I was too busy enjoying the real thing, to concentrate on taking the pics :) (*I did try to take a video when he was super close to me, but I wasn’t even concentrating on what I was doing….I’m the world’s worst videographer….good thing I chose to be a photographer instead :)

My far away seats. The guy’s bald head really got in the way of my picture.

The new stage looks great, loving the screens in the background. This concert had a much bigger budget.

This is when he was in the middle of the arena….closeness!!

See how close the guitar guy was to me. I couldn’t even zoom out anymore.

This is towards the end of the concert….love the encore performances!

We took this picture when we went to happy hour at Figaro Bistrot in Silver Lake, before the concert. Food was very yummy there.

After the concert we were on such a high we went to eat again, first we had dessert crepes at Syrup Desserts, then ramen in J town. And yes it was in that order, dessert first. We didn’t get home till almost 3 am….what party animals we are!!!

    3 Months Prego!!

    Friday, April 9th, 2010

So if you think I’m just getting fat lately…..I’m not, I just have a bun in the oven :) Although, the diet is off now, and burgers, fries, chips and pizza is a very guilty pleasure of mine nowadays and I’m sure that’s adding to the weight gain. My due date is 10.10.10,  cool date huh, and very easy to remember even with my absentminded brain (who knew a baby can suck a mother’s brain juice out of her!)  This will be Charlie and my first child and we are super excited to take this next step in our lives. The first trimester was pretty easy, no real morning sickness….I did have one bad week, but I think it was just Caffeine withdrawls, which I still get every now and then….man I miss my coffee!! I don’t really have an actual weird craving, I just want to eat everything that I use to limit myself on, like junk food, which is fun for awhile, until I realized I’m not a celebrity and won’t be able to afford a personal trainer after I give birth to lose the weight in a week, like we see on tv. So here is a pic of my sorta growing baby bumb, I thought I was a lot huger than this, cuz I feel super fat already, but in the picture, you can barely see it…..but trust me, it’s so there. Keep coming back to my blog, I’m going to try to be better at blogging and keeping you updated on baby and me as well as the upcoming wedding season.
