Creative Vision Design & Photography:

Hi my name is Seanny and I'm the designer & photographer at Creative Vision, a design & photography boutique located in Orange County. Thank you for visiting my blog and taking the time to get to know me. I graduated from Woodbury University with a degree in Graphic Design and have worked in the Music/Entertainment Industry and Publishing world since 1999. But because I'm a true romantic, my passion was weddings, whether it was designing for them or photographing them.

Design can play an important role in a wedding. It sets the tone of the wedding beginning with the save the dates, to the to the invitations, all the way to the little personalized tag on the favors. Your wedding is all about you, the bride and the groom, and I can design everything to fit your personality and taste. I believe that every little detail is important, and it can make your guest feel how special your day is to you.

My love of photography began a few years ago when I fell in love with the photojournalism used to capture the event. Having been a bride myself, I know how important photography is to the bride and groom. My goal as a photographer is to capture all of the little moments, emotions and details, and to tell the story of the day through photography. I photograph a wedding, the way I would like my own wedding photographed.

    Vegas – City Center

    Friday, March 12th, 2010

I had great plans to do a photo safari while out in Vegas….but for some reason, there was no time and it was freezing out there. So this is the one picture I shot the whole time I was there….sad. But it’s a picture of the new City Center which just opened up this year. It comprises of hotels, casinos, condos and malls. Quite impressive how all that fit in that space.

    Happy Friday….TGIF!!

    Charlie and me

Charlie and I just got back from Vegas yesterday. It was another fabulous time in Sin city!! I went there for the WPPI conference, and it so happened that Charlie’s co-workers were going there this weekend as well, so we decided to go a day early and meet up with them on Saturday. We went to the club Haze at Aria…..and that night I realized how old I was and how out of place I was. It was fun to check the place out, but after awhile, I realized that clubbing was not my thing anymore. But the girls from Charlie’s office were a lot of fun, and it was fun to pretend I was in my 20’s again :)

On our drive up to Vegas, Charlie and I were talking about how everyone does Vegas their own way. And after going there for the past 9 years, together, we definitely have a routine now. Mainly it’s all about eating, we have to eat at all our favorite spots, so that we are satisfied with our trip. First stop is the Mad Greek in Baker, where they have very yummy gyros, and make sure you ask for the pickles too. Afterwards, we would stop by the outlets in Primm, to do some shopping. This weekend I scored some cute boots from Nine West and also a cute wristlet from Coach (cuz mine literally broke that day….and I didn’t do it on purpose either.) Another stop we must do, is have breakfast at the La Creperie  in the Paris Hotel. We always get the St. Louis, which is ham and cheese with the bechamel sauce and the D’anjou crepe which has the pears and walnuts topped with whip cream….quite a treat!! Finally our favorite buffet to go to is at the Green Valley Ranch Resort and Casino. It’s way off the strip but it’s so worth it. We just recently discovered this place when we went with our friends a couple of years ago. We like it mainly because they stir fry your crab and shrimp for you in a spicy, garlic, basil, butter and whatever they put in there that make it a delish sauce. Everything else is good too, but that really is the best part. So those are all our favorite food spots, it just doesn’t feel the same when we don’t stop at all those places.

On Monday, Kim and I went to the WPPI tradeshow. It was fun to check out all the new stuff that was coming out. I’m excited to add some new products to my business and also purchase some new equipment…..better save my pennies :)  It was a fun getaway with the hub and friends rolled into a business trip…..Vegas is always a fun break from reality.
