Creative Vision Design & Photography:

Hi my name is Seanny and I'm the designer & photographer at Creative Vision, a design & photography boutique located in Orange County. Thank you for visiting my blog and taking the time to get to know me. I graduated from Woodbury University with a degree in Graphic Design and have worked in the Music/Entertainment Industry and Publishing world since 1999. But because I'm a true romantic, my passion was weddings, whether it was designing for them or photographing them.

Design can play an important role in a wedding. It sets the tone of the wedding beginning with the save the dates, to the to the invitations, all the way to the little personalized tag on the favors. Your wedding is all about you, the bride and the groom, and I can design everything to fit your personality and taste. I believe that every little detail is important, and it can make your guest feel how special your day is to you.

My love of photography began a few years ago when I fell in love with the photojournalism used to capture the event. Having been a bride myself, I know how important photography is to the bride and groom. My goal as a photographer is to capture all of the little moments, emotions and details, and to tell the story of the day through photography. I photograph a wedding, the way I would like my own wedding photographed.

    Aidan’s Circus Train Party – 1st Birthday!

    Saturday, October 8th, 2011

I still can’t believe a year has past, and my little boy, Aidan, is now 1 years old. It seemed like just yesterday that we brought him home from the hospital and our whole world had changed.

We decided to celebrate big and throw him a circus party, since I’ve always wanted a circus party, but then I found a train you could rent at trainpartyexpress.com, and it evolved into a Circus Train Party extravaganza!

Of couse as you already know, it all begins with the invitations. It was printed on both sides and even included a train ticket you could tear off. Artwork was from Nitwit Collections (license #33615)

If you are interested in ordering this invitation, contact us at info@invitationparlour.com for more information.

My friend had made me onesies for each month, which was great because then we would remember to take pictures every month for a year. I used the pictures for the invitations and had them at the party as well.

Custom address labels are a must with my invitations & cards….presentation starts with the envelope. As I always say, it’s not necessary…but it surely does look cute!

And here is the centerpiece of the party…the circus treats table, it was loaded with different candies, candy apples, cotton candy and animal cookies. There was also mini cupcakes & a yummy chocolate cake from A Piece of Cake.

Here’s all the details from the treats table. I decided to decorate the cake myself so that the cake would match the party, there was mini bunting flags and a circus train on there, that I cut on my sillouette. The mini cupcakes were bought from Walmart (I was so lucky the colors matched) I bought cute little clear gable boxes and put animal cookies in there and they had labels saying, “Aidan’s Circus Animals” The polka dot background was wrapping paper I found at Paper Source and all the popcorn containers I found at the Dollar Tree store (that place is a like a treasure chest for finding random things you need for parties)

This display was my prize counter for the carnival games we had in our backyard. We had a raffle for bigger prizes, but everyone is a winner at this party and all the kids got to choose from yo-yo’s, clown bouncy balls, train bubbles/whistle and circus ducks.

I found the vintage circus train toy on ebay, and when it arrived, I was so happy to see how big it was, which gave me the idea to fill it with lollipops. We didn’t have a real clown, but the 3′ clown balloon was floating around greeting people. I think the signs were great addition, we had a train stop sign, signs for the games, even a sign for the “snack bar” where guests filled up on hot dogs, pizza and nachos.

Here is the train that started all this party madness. Funny thing is that when I booked it I was afraid it would be like a boring tram ride, but when I saw it and rode on it the first time, I felt like a kid. There was music playing like the rides at Disneyland, and it actually went pretty fast (definitely put your seat belt on). The conductor was wonderful & everyone had an awesome time on it…even the adults :)

I found the cute little clown costume on Zulily. I was so happy when it arrived the day before the party.

    Camacho Family Photoshoot {Laguna Beach}

    Tuesday, September 13th, 2011

A few weeks ago I met  up with the Camacho family in Laguna Beach for a family photo shoot. Check out the pictures from the day. And remember to check out the slideshow too! Click here for the slideshow.

Look how cute these girls are….they made my job easy.

Kaylie is older by a year and definitely takes on the older sister role.

    Sabrina is the goofy one.

    What a beautiful family :)

What’s a photoshoot without lollipops? Candy is the best bribe in the world.

    Some mommy loving :)

And some goofy faces with dad.

    Yellow tongues!

    Awww, a sweet little smile.

    Kyan turns 3!

    Monday, July 4th, 2011

A few weeks ago, my nephew Kyan turned 3! Wow, it’s crazy how time is just speeding past us. I still remember when he was just a few days old and I took my first pictures of him.

We celebrated his birthday at Grandma and Grandpa’s house and this year, his cousin, Aidan got to celebrate with him. It’s nice now that Kyan gets to have a new little buddy to play with, though, Aidan can’t quite play with Kyan yet. But by next year, I think those two will get themselves into all sorts of trouble….well hopefully not too much trouble :)

AAwww….it’s so cute how Kyan filled the big brother role so quickly.

Jackson Freeman – Newborn Photoshoot – Orange County

    Sunday, May 15th, 2011

Last Wednesday, I got a chance to meet Jackson Freeman for the first time. For the past 2 years I’ve photographed and documented every stage of this family’s lives and now, there is a brand new addition! Jackson was a little miracle, at first he was expected to be born super early, but luckily he hung on and was born about 7 weeks early instead on April 5th. Now he is healthy, growing and doing extremely well. Check out this cutie patootie….

    Aidan’s First Playdate

    Saturday, February 12th, 2011

On Friday Aidan had his first playdate with the neighbor’s daughter Katrina. It was the cutest thing. They didn’t really do much, but there’s just something about having babies in pictures together that make it so darn cute!

    Aidan’s First Halloween

    Monday, November 22nd, 2010

Aidan arrived just in time for Halloween this year. Of course I was looking for a costume for him when he was just 6 mo old in my tummy. It first started when I realized that it would be very cute if Aidan dressed up as Tigger, since he was going to be born in the year of the tiger. But when I looked at the costumes online, I realized it would look cuter when he was older. But then I found the hotdog costume and that’s what Aidan ended up as this year. The reason for the hotdog was because that is one of Charlie’s favorite food. At first I wanted to dress up as ketchup and Charlie as mustard…especially since Charlie loves mustard. But in the end we were lucky enough to get Aidan into his costume and he stayed happy enough for us to take the pictures. Funny thing about his costume was, since the infant costume was still much to large for him, we ended up getting the small dog costume instead, and it worked out for the better. Check out his cute costume below.

    Welcome to our lives Aidan!!

    Friday, November 12th, 2010

On September 26th, at exactly 12 midnight, our son Aidan was born and our lives changed forever. We finally went from being a couple to becoming a family. So that is my excuse for being MIA. Pretty darn good one, I think. This last month and a half has been a crazy whirlwind of change, work, as well as happiness. We are still getting to know our son, he can be pretty unpredictable, but it’s fun getting to know his funny little quirks. Such as the funny expressions he makes when he sleeps, and the funny noises that come out of him and trying to distinguish what each cry means. Our lives changed for the better….except for the sleep department :) Here are some of the pictures that have been taken of him for the past month…

Daddy’s Little Girl – Craig and Kayliana’s Photoshoot

    Wednesday, September 8th, 2010

Two weekends ago, when I was still somewhat mobile, I went to go shoot my last photoshoot before I become a mom. Craig was finally able to redeem his be-lated Father’s day gift of a photoshoot with his little girl Kayliana. At first Kayliana was a bit shy….not too bad, but she didn’t warm up yet. We had balloons as props, but she got a little scared of them, so I had to bust out the lollipop and that did the trick. Next thing I knew, she was a professional model :) Although then all the pics had lollipops in them. However we did get to get some shots at the baseball field, which is what Kayliana and her dad likes to do together and some pics of them goofing off. It was fun to see them interact with each other, it’s such a special bond between father and daughter. Thanks for letting me capture the moments! Check out the pics!
