Creative Vision Design & Photography:

Hi my name is Seanny and I'm the designer & photographer at Creative Vision, a design & photography boutique located in Orange County. Thank you for visiting my blog and taking the time to get to know me. I graduated from Woodbury University with a degree in Graphic Design and have worked in the Music/Entertainment Industry and Publishing world since 1999. But because I'm a true romantic, my passion was weddings, whether it was designing for them or photographing them.

Design can play an important role in a wedding. It sets the tone of the wedding beginning with the save the dates, to the to the invitations, all the way to the little personalized tag on the favors. Your wedding is all about you, the bride and the groom, and I can design everything to fit your personality and taste. I believe that every little detail is important, and it can make your guest feel how special your day is to you.

My love of photography began a few years ago when I fell in love with the photojournalism used to capture the event. Having been a bride myself, I know how important photography is to the bride and groom. My goal as a photographer is to capture all of the little moments, emotions and details, and to tell the story of the day through photography. I photograph a wedding, the way I would like my own wedding photographed.

Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami Fundraiser – Special Edition Notecards

    Friday, March 25th, 2011

This idea of a fundraiser started when I was watching the news and I saw the breaking news headline that there was a huge earthquake in Japan. When I first heard about it, I was mainly concerned for my friend and business partner’s younger sister, who was in Japan for vacation. Luckily she was safe and was able to come home right away. But for the next week, I was glued to the TV watching everything unfold in Japan and feeling so sad for everyone there who had lost their homes and loved ones. Everyday the news in that country just kept getting worst and the footage of the the disaster was horrifying. Then one night I decided to design a Japanese inspired invitation for our company,, based on the cherry blossoms seen in that country this time of year. The next day, I decided, why not turn the invitation into a notecard that I could sell and donate half of the profits to the American Redcross: Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami Fund, instead. I was already going to donate money to them but figured why not see if I could raise even more money for them.  I just wanted to just do a small part in helping them as much as I could, and after talking to my friend, she was totally on board, and here we are today, trying to sell as many notecards as we can and make our small contribution.

You can purchase these notecards “Springtime in Japan” at for $10/pack of 10 cards. They are blank cards, so they can be used for any occasion.

The design was inspired by the beauty of spring & all the cherry blossoms that would be seen in the country of Japan during this time of year. The yellow birds represent hope and peace that we wish for the people during this difficult time.

Thank you so much for your support!
