Creative Vision Design & Photography:

Hi my name is Seanny and I'm the designer & photographer at Creative Vision, a design & photography boutique located in Orange County. Thank you for visiting my blog and taking the time to get to know me. I graduated from Woodbury University with a degree in Graphic Design and have worked in the Music/Entertainment Industry and Publishing world since 1999. But because I'm a true romantic, my passion was weddings, whether it was designing for them or photographing them.

Design can play an important role in a wedding. It sets the tone of the wedding beginning with the save the dates, to the to the invitations, all the way to the little personalized tag on the favors. Your wedding is all about you, the bride and the groom, and I can design everything to fit your personality and taste. I believe that every little detail is important, and it can make your guest feel how special your day is to you.

My love of photography began a few years ago when I fell in love with the photojournalism used to capture the event. Having been a bride myself, I know how important photography is to the bride and groom. My goal as a photographer is to capture all of the little moments, emotions and details, and to tell the story of the day through photography. I photograph a wedding, the way I would like my own wedding photographed.

Extended Family Photoshoot – San Diego, CA

    Wednesday, June 30th, 2010

On Sunday, June 20th I joined the Jones and the Kopald family for a Family day party photoshoot. They were celebrating lots of things that day…so they just called it Family Day. There was of course Fathers Day, a graduation and 2 birthdays….that’s a lot of celebrating. The family was wonderful and I had a great time with all of them, and they even fed me cake in the end, which is a huge big bonus for me and baby :) Check out some of the fun and silly pictures we ended up getting that day….and click here to view the slideshow.

    Phomphakdy Family Photoshoot

    Wednesday, December 16th, 2009

Last Saturday I spent the afternoon with the Phomphakdy family. Justina, the mom, has been my good  friend since high school! I can’t believe the kids are already so big. Navin is already in pre-school, but it feels like just yesterday when I was taking his picture when he was just a few days old. It was raining that Saturday afternoon, which threw all our plans off. We were suppose to go hang out at Balboa Park, but Mother Nature refused to let up, and we ended up at Justina’s brother’s condo. Luckily he has a nice little skylight in the living room, which gave me lovely natural lighting for the shoot. Too bad Briohny wouldn’t stay still in the one area, she was all over the place. We finally were having the rest of the family just move where she went, it was pretty darn funny, even Navin was becoming amused by his little sister. Check out the pics!

    Tran Family Photoshoot

    Wednesday, December 16th, 2009

On Sunday, I hung out with the Tran family for a fun photoshoot at the Irvine Regional Park. We started the shoot with lollipops early on, then the boys, Dylan and Jayden were all over the place! Luckily we found a playground for them to let out their energy. They ran all over the park, played in the leaves and climbed the trees. Chasing after 2 little boys can be quite tiring, but it was worth it, check out some of the cute pics from the day…and check out the slideshow too!

    Engagement/Family Photoshoot with the Freemans

    Wednesday, December 16th, 2009

On Sunday I met up with the Lisa, Nick, Addison, their dog Bella, as well as the grandparents, Karen and Jeff for a engagement/family photoshoot. What is special about this photoshoot was that Lisa and Nick are not just getting married next spring, but they are also joining a family together with Nick’s daughter Addison. So they have tried to incorporate her into all aspects of the wedding. I met up with Lisa a few months ago to help her design all the stationary for her wedding and so far it’s been a blast working with her. Wait till you see the invites I designed for her next year….too much fun!! I’ve heard so much about Nick and Addison for awhile and finally I got to meet them yesterday. We had a great time playing and taking pictures at the Mason Regional Park….well Addison was playing, I was chasing her around with my camera and bribing her with a big ole lollipop. But all that chasing and bribing paid off, and I think I got some great pictures of this cute little family. Check it out and check out the slideshow too!

    Family photoshoot with the Sumala’s

    Wednesday, December 16th, 2009

For this year’s photoshoot with the Sumala’s we decided to go to the Riley Wilderness Park in the OC. This year Kelan is 2 1/2 years old, and boy what a difference a year makes for a toddler. Last year, I was already pooped out from running after him, but this year, he would literally not sit still…..well, till we bribed him with lollipops, then he was quite the angel, for about a few minutes….but we managed to wrestle him down for a few formal shots, then we just let him be, so he could run off the sugar from all the candy! He went over his candy quota for the day (he’s usually only allowed one piece of halloween candy a day) but it was so worth it.
