On August 29th, Erin and Bart tied the knot at the Belamar Hotel in Manhattan Beach. The first time I met them, we immediately clicked, especially with Erin, who is warm and sweet. And I know where she got it from. When I met her family at the wedding, I received a lovely thank you card from Erin’s mom, thanking me for being there to capture her children’s important day. At the engagement shoot, you can feel the love Bart has for Erin. He would spring in front of a spider for her if he had to
They are also silly together, which I think makes the best relationships. It was a pleasure photographing their wedding day, check out the photos below.

Nice moment with mom.

The dapper Groom.

I love first looks.

I love it when there’s a “Here comes the Bride” sign.

I love the look the bride gets when they see their groom.

A touching moment during the ceremony.

Congratulations Erin and Bart!

Last Saturday I got to hang out with Erin and Bart at the Riley Wilderness Park for their Engagement Photos. Erin and Bart met at Church and in the beginning Erin just thought it was a start of a beautiful friendship, but Bart had a different idea. With one well planned kiss, Erin was smitten and not only was it a start of a friendship, it was also the beginning of a budding romance.
Erin and Bart are the perfect blend of sweet and silly. Bart is Erin’s Spider killing hero and always makes sure there are no bugs and spiders nearby. Erin is down to earth and is so cute when she breaks into random dancing. They are silly when they are together, yet so loving and adorable. Check them out below, and for more photos click here for the slideshow.

Look how cute they are!!

I just love, love this park for photos! And with this perfectly placed bench, I love it even more now!

On August 30th we celebrated my baby girl’s First Birthday at the Carlsbad Lagoon, with a Mermaid themed party. We went to the Lagoon earlier this year for another birthday party, and when we saw the location, and the large deck that you get to rent for parties, we knew that this would be the best spot for Zoey’s party. We had such a great time out there and how perfect is it to have a Mermaid party at a Lagoon. I really wanted to get a mermaid that would swim out of the water….but my husband vetoed that idea….I guess that would have been overboard

Party details:
• Mermaid & Starfish centerpieces
• Custom Cake designed by BC Cakes & Bakery
• Madeleine clam cookies
• Rice Krispies starfishes
• Goldfish bar
• Custom water bottle labels
• Custom onesie and tutu from Joy Shine Designs on Etsy.

We rented some kayaks and peddle boats for people to use during the party….you can see my son in the middle waving to us

I designed a 4 page accordian styled invitation where we were able to place multiple photos of Zoey that we had take throughout the year. The invitations are available for purchase at www.invitationparlour.com or our etsy store. We also have a 5×7 flat version of this invitation available on etsy as well.

And here are pictures of the birthday girl herself!

Last Sunday we met up with my best friend Kim and her family and did a holiday photo exchange. We both photograph her families all the time and have the cutest pictures of the kids with our husbands, but we are never in the picture. So we decided to dress up meet up at the Irvine Railroad Park and do a little mini photo shoot with both of our families.

Here were a couple of my favorites from our family……..thanks Kimmy for the great photos!

Last year in August we had a summer Dancey Dance pool party for Aidan’s 3rd birthday. At the time he was still into watching Yo Gabba Gabba, and I decided that he had to have a Gabba themed birthday. With the cute character’s and fun colors, it was such a fun party to design for.

Party details:
• Yo Gabba Gabba character banner
• Brobee treat bag toppers
• Cupcake toppers
• Treat Signs
• Hershey nuggets wrapped with the character’s faces
• Gable boxes that looked like the boom box
• Muno cake custom made from Albertson’s
• Muno pretzel sticks dipped in red chocolate
• Plex jumbo marshmello’s dipped in yellow chocolate
• Jello cups with characters

We designed the invitations to look like the boombox on the front, open it up and you can personalize with your child’s photos, and invitation wording. Order these invitations at: etsy.com we also have a 5×7 flat card version of this invitations at: etsy.com

Jenna and Scott were married on December 15th, 2013 at Wedgewood at Glen Ivy. It was an absolutely beautiful and sunny day in California, which made the outdoor wedding perfect, even in the middle of winter….got to love California weather!
For more photos, check out the slideshow at www.mycreativevision.com
Thank you Blair Nicole Photography for second shooting with me!

Getting Ready.
Scott is waiting for his bride.

The ceremony was emotional as Jenna came down the aisle with tears in her eyes and it was so cute as Scott helped her wipe her tears away.

The adorable flower girls.

Beautiful bride.

The Dapper Groom.

There were so many awesome locations to shoot at the Glen Ivy Golf Course, but we only had about 45 minutes to take all of the formal pictures, before the sun went down, so we had to be quick like a bunny.

Some of the details.

The toasts.

Last Sunday I met up with Jessica and Craig for a mini photoshoot. They will be getting married next year and theme will be vintage baseball….how fun is that! So to tie into the theme I designed some cute baseball ticket Save the dates, that I will reveal later on next year. But they needed a photo for it, so Jessica found a baseball field at Heritage Park in Irvine where we took a few pictures. In addition to the photo for the Save the Dates we also took a few family photos with Craig’s daughter Kayliana. It was a special family photo, since this would be their 1st official one. Check out the pictures below, and check out the slideshow, click here.

As another year whizzes by, I am amazed how this is already Aidan’s 3rd Christmas. It truly is awesome to see how much he has grown. He went from being a helpless little infant, that first Christmas when he was only 3 months old, to a 2 year old toddler than is starting to have almost a whole conversation with you about Christmas lights. As much as I always wish I could just win the lottery and strike it rich, I know how lucky I am in life to have such a great son, a loving husband and wonderful family and friends. I’m lucky that everyone is healthy this year and we get to enjoy another Christmas and New Years together.
So I would like to pass some of my luck to you and wish everyone a wonderful Holiday with all of your loved ones too!

On September 2nd, my friends Coleen and Matt made it official and got married in Lodi, California at Wine and Roses. I met Coleen through my friend Kim almost 13 years ago, and since then we have remained great friends. Coleen and I aren’t the friends that talk everyday, but when we do get together, we always have a great time. She was the friend that would ride the elephant with me in Thailand when no one else wanted to, or think it was a good idea to ride down the river on a raft…..and we would laugh the whole time doing it. When Coleen called me to let me know that her and Matt were tying the knot, I was so happy for her. They’ve known each other since high school and even after losing touch after school they reconnected after college and ultimately made a family together and are now husband and wife.
The wedding at Wine and Roses was perfect for them, it was beautiful and intimate, and we were so happy to be a part of their day. Congratulations Coleen & Matt…may your lives be forever full of love and happiness!
Check out the pictures from the day and to see more here is the slideshow.
And here are the photos from the main photographer Tippy, www.tippytphotography.com

Loved the details on the wedding dress.

So pretty!

The Groom

Their daughter Elise….isn’t she adorable!

Their son, Mateo was the ring bearer and Elise was the flower girl.

And here is Aidan, enjoying music.
